XVth World Congress

Are you prepared to XVth World Congress of the World Federation of Friends of Museums which will be realized in Berlin? Read the letter written by Daniel Ben-Natan, WFFM’s president!

ImageDear friends,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to Berlin, Germany, next May for the XVth World Congress of the World Federation of Friends of Museums which will be preceded for the first time in many years by the meetings of the Council and General Assembly of the World Federation of Friends of Museums. This will ensure a large participation of our leadership and members and will be of great importance for the further development of the WFFM.

The World Congress will be focusing on issues relating directly to ways and means of supporting our museums as friends and volunteers and will give us a rare opportunity to compare, learn from and share knowledge and experience with our peers from all corners of the world. The program of the Congress will follow and will undoubtedly wet your appetites to come yourselves and bring colleagues and friends with you.

Berlin is not just another great city which has experienced an enormous renewal ever since the Berlin Wall was destroyed. It is perhaps THE cultural capital of the world and is the home for hundreds of excellent museums and galleries. We will be able to combine serious discussions with a wonderful program prepared for us by our German Federation led by Ekkehard Numann, WFFM Vice President for Europe, and his colleagues.

May I encourage you to join me in registering early both to take advantage of the very reasonable “early bird” registration fee and to ensure your participation in this very special event.

Looking forward to sharing Berlin with you and with best regards,

Daniel Ben-Natan
